Project Description:

This project was my first experience developing a responsive website. It was developed primarily with Bootstrap 4, HTML, and CSS3.

I was the primary developer of the site, gathering background data from family members.

The main goal for developing this site was to further expand our knowledge on the systems used for web development while also increasing my creative capabilities.

I was able to successfully deliver on all required elements and received high marks for executing this project successfully.

Required Elements:

  • At least 10 different components such as but not limited to: Images (must be open sourced), Navbars, Menus(Navs/Tabs), Media objects, Buttons, Alert messages, Cards, Forms, Lists, Tables, Links, and Jumbotrons. Must be mobile-first and responsive with at least two breakpoints (small, medium, and large views) of your choosing. Must use Sass for styling.

Design Decisions:

  • I chose to represent a soft color palette for this family-style blog. I picked complimentary fonts and used personal images.
